Terms and Conditions
- All tours are subject to availability and must must be booked in advance.
- Passengers must be wear appropriate clothing, which includes long pants and enclosed
shoes. Blue Thunder Down Under reserves the right to refuse a ride to any passenger due
to incorrect clothing.
- Blue Thunder Down Under riders will provide Jackets & helmets to all customers.
- Blue Thunder Down Under reserves the right to refuse a ride to any passenger who is
under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Time commences from your arranged pick up point. If you are late for your pick, the ride
will still finish at the pre-arranged time, in order to not inconvenience other customers
booked after your ride.
- A minimum of 1 hour per booking.
- Gift Vouchers are non - refundable.
- Tours may be cancelled by either party in the event of rain or wet weather conditions.
However, we are less likely to cancel in the event of a wedding. This will generally be up
to your discretion. You will need to rebook another time and will not incur any fees or
additional charges.
- For weddings a non-refundable deposit of 20% must be paid to confirm your booking.
The balance of payment will be required either on the day as cash or paid by other
methods at least 1 week before.
- All tolls are included in our prices. However, fees for National Parks that charge an
entrance fee, will be added to the cost of your ride. The Royal National Park in Sutherland
does not charge fees to ride through. However, the majority of other Parks do.
- Blue Thunder Down Under takes special care in ensuring the safety of our riders. It is the
passengers responsibility to observe the safety procedures advised by the rider and to
ensure that your clothing adequately covers your legs and feet at all times during the ride
and when near the bike.
- For Cancellations of Rides for 1 - 5 passengers:
- You will need to rebook for another time or date as long as we have at least 48
hours notice. If you are unsure of a time you want to rebook for we will issue you
with a voucher that is valid for 12 months for the tour.
- A $20 rebooking fee will be charged for Bookings that need to be rescheduled within
less than 48 hours of pick up. This will incur a flat rate $20 rebooking fee.
- A 50% value of the booking fee will be charged if bookings need to be rescheduled
with 2 hours or less til pick up.
- Bookings that are cancelled within 48 hours of pick up will forfeit all monies paid.
- For Cancellations of Rides for 6 or more passengers:
- A flat rate rebooking fee of $220 will apply for bookings that need to be
rescheduled by date or time within 7 days of pick up.
- Rider numbers can be decreased within 7 days of the ride but there will be no
refund of monies.
- Rider numbers can only be increased within 7 days by prior arrangement.
- You cannot reschedule a booking within 72 hours of pick up.
- Bookings that are cancelled within 72 hours of pick up will forfeit all monies paid.
